Happy Father's Day

I wanted to say how much I love my dad. He has always made the extra effort to spend time with me and my family and loved us unconditionally. Here are a few recent, fond memories of our time together...


This spring break my dad surprised us by coming to our house for the week. We spent a couple of days in the mountains. Dad had a list of several hikes he wanted to do--we went on three. Did I mention that he had pancreatic cancer last year?! We had so much fun.



I loved getting to go to the zoo with my dad and stepmom this spring break. Thank you for spending the week with us.



My dad never gives up, even when he is discouraged. This picture is after two hurricanes, one ugly bout with pancreatic cancer, and my brother's nearly deadly car accident. You can see that he is still smiling while he cleans.
